Detailed description (English): Ecocerved is an in-house company of the Italian Chambers of Commerce system. The company designs, develops and manages information systems for companies and entities required to comply with national and EU environmental regulations, with reference to administrative practices regarding waste, emissions, extended responsibility etc.
In 2021 a working group was formed, on the initiative of some employees, with the aim of tracing the "Company path for integrated sustainable development" ("Percorso Aziendale di Sviluppo Sostenibile Integrato" - PASSI that means "steps" in Italian language); from a "bottom-up" start, the group subsequently worked to structure the path and in 2023 oversaw the drafting of the company's first Sustainability Report, drawn up in a simplified form on a voluntary basis.
In 2024, as part of the PASSI project, the company launches an awareness initiative on the topic of mobility, which consists of:
- questionnaire about home-work commuting habits of employees;
- competition to encourage green transport modes during the European week: all employees are invited to go to work on foot, by bicycle or electric means, bus/train, car pooling and demonstrate their commitment by sending a photo of the ticket/pass in the case of using public transport or of themselves or with colleagues if using other methods; if at least 40% of the company population participates in the initiative, Ecocerved undertakes to equip itself with accessories that are functional to reducing disposable items and enhancing ecological materials.
Detailed description (original language): Ecocerved è una società in house del sistema delle Camere di Commercio italiane. L’azienda progetta, sviluppa e gestisce sistemi informativi per imprese ed enti tenuti ad adempiere alla normativa ambientale, nazionale e comunitaria, con riferimento a pratiche amministrative riguardanti rifiuti, emissioni, responsabilità estesa ecc.
Nel 2021 si è formato un gruppo di lavoro, su iniziativa di alcuni dipendenti, con l’obiettivo di tracciare il “Percorso Aziendale di Sviluppo Sostenibile Integrato” (PASSI); da una partenza “dal basso”, il gruppo si è successivamente attivato per strutturare il percorso avviato e nel 2023 ha curato la redazione del primo Bilancio di sostenibilità dell’azienda, redatto in forma semplificata a titolo volontario.
Nel 2024, nell’ambito del progetto PASSI, l'azienda lancia un’iniziativa di informazione e sensibilizzazione sulla mobilità, che consiste nelle seguenti attività:
- questionario per conoscere le abitudini di spostamento casa-lavoro dei dipendenti;
- concorso per incentivare modalità di trasporto green nel corso della settimana europea: tutti i dipendenti sono invitati a recarsi al lavoro a piedi, in bicicletta, con mezzi elettrici, in bus/treno o car pooling e dimostrare il proprio impegno inviando una foto del biglietto/abbonamento nel caso di utilizzo dei mezzi pubblici oppure di sé stessi o con i colleghi se si utilizzano le altre modalità; se almeno il 40% della popolazione aziendale parteciperà all’iniziativa, Ecocerved si impegna a dotarsi di accessori funzionali a ridurre l’usa-e-getta e a valorizzare i materiali ecologici.
