Detailed description (English): The Rolling’ is a bike drawn cultural mediation tool.
An elegant kiosk, The Rolling' is at the same time a showcase, a ticket office, a desk, a library, a display counter for magazines, documents, or objects, a welcoming place, a meeting and sharing point, a small outdoor antenna of the institution.
This movable glass bubble has invisible shelves, where books and documents seem to float, a comfortable oak bench, a swivel secretary that extends an outdoor counter protected by a front shutter that turns into an awning to welcome visitors.
The Rolling' already has a prestigious track record for it: winner of a competition at the International Design Biennial of Saint-Etienne in 2019, it enters the collections of the Louvre-Lens in 2020, then benefits from the support of the Public Investment Bank and the Innovation Tax Credit, the second version is now used by the Versailles tourist office.
With its counter-display, its lighting powered by photovoltaic panels, its large window sheltered by an awning. All moved by a bicycle, it is the ideal tool to meet the public outside the walls.
The Rolling' is equipped with inertia brakes to drive miles on the road towed by an electric bike.
The Rolling' is a zero-emission vehicle made of recyclable materials machined locally in France.
Active mobility. Autonomy. Wide variety of uses. Clean line. The Rolling' ticks all the boxes.
" With the challenges of ecological change and decarbonization of culture, the Rolling will be a great success, that's for sure. "
Béatrice Hanin, Director of the Theatre, Saint-Nazaire national stage
