Detailed description (English): The kindergarten community is invited to celebrate Car-Free Day by coming to school in an eco-friendly way – by bike, scooter, on foot, or another sustainable mode of transport. Children are encouraged to decorate their chosen “ride of the day” creatively.
Older kindergarten groups, together with physical education teachers and a public health specialist, will take a short walk to a selected spot in the city (for example, the Golden Boy Square or the playground near the Fox sculpture). There, they will do a warm-up, play active games, meet the police dog Amsis, and then return to the kindergarten.
Detailed description (original language): Akcija "Diena be automobilio". Darželio bendruomenė kviečiama į Dieną be automobilio paminėti į įstaigą atvykstant aplinkai draugiška transporto priemone - dviračiu, paspirtuku, pėsčiomis ir kt. Vaikai kviečiami išradingai papuošti savo tos dienos transportą. Vyresnių darželio grupių mokiniai kartu su fizinio ugdymo mokytais bei visuomenės sveikatos specialistu eina į trumpą žygį į pasirinktą miesto vietą (pvz. Auksinio berniuko aikštę, žaidimų erdvę prie Lapės skulptūros), ten atlieka mankštą, judrų žaidimą, susipažįsta su policijos šuniuku Amsiu ir po renginio grįžta į darželį.
