Target group(s): Citizen
Objectives: The peculiarity of the project is the transformation of three streets, which were asphalted and intended for roads and parking, into restricted traffic areas – underlines the architect Vallone – therefore pedestrians, between new greenery and seats, for walking, meeting, shopping among the shops in the centre, they will have the opportunity to experience the environment. The new gardens will constitute a privileged place in the historic center to come into contact with nature and will provide important eco-systemic services of a cultural nature, promoting relationships, knowledge and the psycho-physical well-being of citizens. We will therefore have a green ZTL, a historic center - garden that will contribute to the improvement of the microclimate, air quality and also to the increase in small fauna, think of pollinators, making sustainable mobility central even with cycle paths".
