Detailed description (English): Our school will organise a one-week challenge to encourage students, teachers, and families to choose sustainable ways of moving around the city. Participants will be encouraged to walk, cycle, or use public transportation instead of cars when commuting to school and daily activities.
Each class will record the number of “green miles” travelled during the week using a simple logbook or digital form. At the end of the challenge, we will organise a small celebration to reward the most active classes with certificates and symbolic eco-prizes (such as reusable bottles or bike reflectors).
The activity promotes health, teamwork, and environmental responsibility, while raising awareness about reducing CO₂ emissions in our community.
Target group(s): Target group: students aged 4–18, teachers, and parents.
Objectives: Objectives:
-Encourage sustainable mobility among young people and their families.
-Raise awareness about the environmental benefits of walking, cycling, and public transport.
-Strengthen collaboration between students, teachers, parents, and the local community.
