Detailed description (English): The Barrier-Free Beaches located at Konyaaltı and Lara Beach, two of Antalya's most popular coastal areas, were developed with the comfort of individuals with physical disabilities in mind.These accessible beaches offer a range of free services, including designated parking spaces for disabled individuals, accessible restrooms, showers, changing cabins, lifeguard services, sunbeds, and shaded areas.Visitors with disabilities can enjoy the sea without any difficulties, benefiting from the well-equipped and comfortable facilities.From the accessible parking lot, tactile guide paths lead visitors directly to the beach, where a specially designed ramp allows easy access to the sea.Also public transport to beaches is accessible for all.These barrier-free beaches have become popular destinations for many due to the convenience, comfort and safety they provide.In addition to serving local residents, they also cater to tourists, offering them a welcoming and accessible environment.Lifeguards at the beach are on standby to ensure the safety of visitors in case of an emergency.This allows disabled visitors and their accompanying family members to enjoy the sea with peace of mind.Furthermore, the availability of specially designed beach wheelchairs makes it easier for wheelchair users to enter the water, providing them with the opportunity to fully experience and enjoy the sea.In line with "Shared Public Spaces" theme, the initiative promotes inclusivity by ensuring that public coastal areas can be enjoyed by all, fostering a sense of equality and community within these shared spaces.
Detailed description (original language): Antalya'nın en gözde sahilleri olan Konyaaltı ve Lara Sahili’nde bulunan Engelsiz Plajlar, bedensel engeli olan vatandaşların konforu düşünülerek hayata geçirildi. Engelli otoparkı, tuvalet, duş, soyunma kabini, cankurtaran, şezlong, gölgelik alanlar gibi birçok hizmetten ücretsiz şekilde yararlanma fırsatı bulan engelli bireyler, bu konforlu alanda zorluk çekmeden denizin tadını çıkarmaktadır.
Engelli otoparkından itibaren başlayan kılavuz çizgiler sayesinde plaja gelen vatandaşlar, engelli rampası ile de denize rahatça girebilmektedir. Sunduğu kolaylıklar, konfor ve güvenli olması sebebiyle birçok kişinin uğrak noktası olan engelli plajlar tatil için Antalya’yı tercih eden turistlere de hitap etmektedir.
Plajda görev yapan cankurtaranlar, acil bir durumda ziyaretçilerin güvenliğini sağlamak için hazır beklemektedir.
