Detailed description (English): Youth Placemaking Balkans (YPB) aims to engage and empower youth across the Balkans by fostering active citizenship and civic participation through placemaking. By connecting sectors, people, and communities, YPB endeavors to create vibrant and healthier urban spaces. The project leverages the collective experiences from previous initiatives to develop a comprehensive approach to youth-led placemaking.
As part of the project activities, BG Be Active is organizing a discussion aimed at the young people of Plovdiv, asking about their ideas, dreams, concepts of how the public spaces for everyday use in Plovdiv should look like.
The discussion will be facilitated and the gathered data will be used for:
- advocacy
- initiating smaller scale placemaking projects together with the youth

????Какъв е потенциалът на публични пространства в Пловдив, за да станат по-привлекателни за младите? Кои места в града са най-интересни за младите- паркове, площади, градски улици, културни обекти и т.н.? Как трябва да изглежда публичното място, за да отговаря на нуждите на младите? Заедно ще обсъдим различните възможности и потребности на младите хора от Пловдив.

Objectives: The goal of the focus group is to engage young people into an open and transparent conversation of how they envision public spaces – parks, squares, community centers, city streets, cultural sites, relaxation zones, and other public areas they use daily.
