Detailed description (English): European Sustainable Mobility Week – E-Bike Tours Across the Province of Ragusa
As part of the European Sustainable Mobility Week, the Committee of Pro Loco Associations of the Province of Ragusa (UNPLI Ragusa APS), in collaboration with GAL Terra Barocca, the local Pro Loco associations, and the municipalities of Modica, Ispica, Ragusa, Santa Croce Camerina, and Scicli, is organizing a series of e-bike tours throughout the week.
These guided tours will allow participants to explore the beautiful towns of the province in a sustainable and eco-friendly way. Along the routes, local businesses will offer tastings of typical products, creating a unique opportunity to combine cycling with culinary experiences. Additionally, guided visits to monuments and landmarks will be organized, allowing participants to appreciate the rich cultural and historical heritage of each town.
This initiative is not just a one-time event. The Provincial Pro Loco Committee is officially launching a year-round e-bike management project in each participating municipality. This will enable the creation of organized cycling tours and itineraries, forming a connected cycling route linking Modica, Ispica, Ragusa, Santa Croce Camerina, and Scicli.
The goal is to encourage sustainable mobility, promote local tourism, and offer residents and visitors a greener, healthier way to discover the territory.

nell'ambito della settimana europea della mobilità sostenibile, il Comitato delle Pro loco della Provincia di Ragusa in sigla Unpli Ragusa Aps insieme al Gal Terra Baroccca, alle pro loco e ai Comuni di Modica, Ispica, Ragusa, Santa Croce Camerina e Scicli organizzano delle passeggiate durante la settimana con delle bike elettriche. Durante le passeggiate verranno coinvolte le aziende dei vari comuni che faranno degustazioni e ci saranno delle visite guidate per apprezzare i monumenti delle città. Questa attività serve a promuovere la mobilità sostenibile e il fatto che il comitato provinciale delle pro loco inizierà a gestire delle bike elettriche in ogni comune per tutto l'anno. Organizzando cosi dei tour e degli itinerari in una sorta di ciclovia che collega i comuni indicati. Cerrà coinvolta tutta la comunità per tutte le età.

Objectives: The main objective of the initiative is to promote sustainable mobility by encouraging the use of electric bikes as an alternative means of transport. The event also aims to enhance local cultural and natural heritage, support local businesses through tastings and experiences, and create a network of cycling routes that connects the participating municipalities, offering residents and visitors the opportunity to discover the area in an eco-friendly and engaging way all year round.
