Detailed description (English): Organised from 16 to 22 September 2025 as part of the European Mobility Week, the Rentrée du transport public is back all over France. Supported by the Ministry of Spatial Planning and Decentralisation and organised by the GIE Objectif transport public, this national event aims to promote the advantages of public transport and alternatives to the private car. This year again, the campaign focuses on concrete solutions for more sustainable and accessible mobility for all.
Detailed description (original language): Initiatives throughout France
From 16 to 22 September 2025, transport networks and mobility organising authorities are mobilising with concrete actions throughout the country.
• Promotional fares: discounts, one-off free tickets or special offers on bus, metro, tram or TER tickets.
• Awareness-raising activities : communication or information campaigns, educational or fun activities, competitions, field visits, etc. organised to show the general public the concrete benefits of public transport in terms of financial savings, carbon footprint and practicality.
A turnkey communication campaign for everyone
The campaign deploys a multi-channel communication system (posters, digital, press, social networks, radio) at the national level, ready to use in the form of a free and customizable communication kit, relayed by the participating networks.
As radio remains the ideal medium to reach motorists, the operation is logically based on the broadcasting of a radio campaign on a national scale on Radio Autoroute 107.7 and on the radio stations of the NRJ group (NRJ, Nostalgie, Chérie FM and Rires&Chansons). The message will be embodied by the voices of each station's antennas, thus reinforcing its impact.
Finally, the campaign will be present in the metro, RER and train stations throughout France thanks to Médiatransports, and in urban areas with Phénix groupe. A new video will be shown in post offices with the support of the La Poste group.

Objectives: Ambitions for 2025
• Invite you to (re)discover your local network : particular attention is paid to those who do not use public transport or use it very little, especially young people and students, with offers and activities designed to help them take the plunge.
• Highlighting the advantages of public transport : Faced with climate challenges and purchasing power issues, the objective is to show that public transport is the most relevant, economical, ecological and practical response for daily journeys.
• Encouraging sustainable mobility : more than just a promotion of public transport, this event encourages a global reflection on the place of sustainable mobility, in urban and rural areas, in the daily lives of the French.
