Detailed description (English): On 25th of September 2025 we are planning an awareness intiative concerning alternative mobility offers/green mobility for our university. Several offers will be made availabel for both students and staff on both of our locations (Eisenstadt and Pinkafeld). We will closely work together with local partners and stakeholders.
Action examples:
1) Free bicycle checks including diagnosis & advice on site, readjustment of gears, brakes, lights, and seating position
2) Free testing of e-bikes, e-transport bikes & folding bikes, e-cars and maybe e-scooters
3) Training & test opportunity for our electric company cars from the University of Applied Sciences Burgenland
4) Offering information material on cycling in Eisenstadt, Pinkafeld and the surrounding area, safety when cycling, behavior in road traffic advice as well as information on "students in the VOR region", local actions like "Burgenland radelt", cycle route maps (leisure routes), route diaries etc.
5) The University of Applied Sciences Burgenland is participating as a company in the https://www.b-mobil.info/de/fahrrad/burgenland-radelt initiative. During the moblity day we will inform about that action as well.
6) We will also highlight the Greendrive App: we are cooperating with Greendrive Mobilityhttps://greendrive.at/de to provide students with a simple solution: carpooling. With the Greendrive app and its connected platform, students can offer and search for carpooling
7) 30-minute guest lecture on sustainable mobility, including kahoot quiz plus recording for interested parties and those who cannot participate
