Detailed description (English): The Piedibus is a free service offered to the children of the Municipality of Marmirolo operating from Monday to Friday, which allows children to go to school doing healthy exercise, a walk in company before facing the day in the classroom, creating an extra opportunity to socialize and chat together during the journey home-school in safety, because supervised by chaperones. Furthermore, the Piedibus is a way to reduce the impact of car traffic during school hours and consequently also allows to reduce the impact of air pollution with an improvement in the psychophysical well-being of our children.
The Piedibus works like a real "bus", with the possibility of choosing between three lines (blue, pink, yellow) that correspond to three different routes. Each Piedibus stop is equipped with a sign that indicates the color of the line and the time of the stop. Everyone can choose the most convenient line! The service began on SEPTEMBER 23, 2024 and will continue until the end of the school year.
The Piedibus works thanks to the availability of volunteer companions, parents, grandparents, friends, uncles who dedicate their time to this initiative. The Piedibus is a free service.
Detailed description (original language): Il Piedibus è un servizio gratuito offerto ai ragazzi del Comune di Marmirolo operativo dal lunedì al venerdì, che permette ai ragazzi di recarsi a scuola facendo sano movimento, una camminata in compagnia prima di affrontare la giornata in aula, creando un'occasione in più per socializzare e chiacchierare insieme durante il tragitto casa-scuola in sicurezza, perché supervisionati da accompagnatori. Inoltre il Piedibus è un modo per ridurre l'impatto del traffico di autovetture negli orari scolastici e conseguentemente permette di ridurre anche l'impatto dell'inquinamento atmosferico con un miglioramento del benessere psicofisico dei nostri ragazzi.
Il Piedibus funziona come un vero “autobus di linea”, con la possibilità di scegliere tra tre linee (azzurra, rosa, gialla) che corrispondono a tre diversi tragitti. Ogni fermata del Piedibus è attrezzata con un cartello che indica il colore della linea e l'orario della fermata. Ognuno può scegliere la linea più comoda! Il servizio è iniziato il 23 SETTEMBRE 2024 e proseguirà fino alla fine dell’anno scolastico.
Il piedibus funziona grazie alla disponibilità di accompagnatori volontari, genitori, nonni, amici, zii che dedicano il loro tempo a questa iniziativa. Il Piedibus è un servizio gratuito.
