Detailed description (English): The Kaindorf Eco-Region is a non-partisan association of the three municipalities of Ebersdorf, Hartl, and Kaindorf. The region has 6,400 inhabitants in an aera of 79 km². Since 2007, over 500 climate protection projects have been implemented. The region has placed a strong emphasis on sustainable, active mobility, which it has consistently pursued for 17 years through a variety of measures and activities aimed at raising awareness among the entire population. EMW 2024 Activities: The entire region was closed to motorized traffic for the cycling event and equipped with refreshment stations and attractions to further encourage a slower pace. As a result, the entire population experienced active mobility in one way or another. The cycling routes and the start/finish area were designed to facilitate easy access, including public transport via the SAM community taxi. Routes were available for children, hikers, and professionals. All refreshment stations were barrier-free. Highlights: Free bicycle check, breakdown service, and e-bike rental/Fashion show by the second-hand store on a green carpet rolled out for the cyclists at the finish line/Grand prize raffle: an e-bike/AUVA children's cycling safety course/ little gift for everyone who arrived without car

Detailed description (original language): Die Ökoregion Kaindorf ist ein vereinsrechtlicher, überparteilicher Zusammenschluss der drei Gemeinden Ebersdorf, Hartl und Kaindorf. Auf einer Gesamtfläche von 79 km² leben ca. 6.400 Einwohner. Seit 2007 wurden mehr als 500 Projekte für den Klimaschutz verwirklicht. Die Region hat einen Schwerpunkt auf nachhaltige, aktive Mobilität gesetzt, den sie kontinuierlich seit 17 Jahren mit verschiedensten Maßnahmen und Aktivitäten zur Sensibilisierung der gesamten Bevölkerung verfolgt. Aktionen EMW 2024
Die gesamte Region war für das Rad-Event mit Straßensperren versehen sowie mit Labestationen und Attraktionen, die nochmals entschleunigten. Die gesamte Bevölkerung nahm dadurch in irgendeiner Form die aktive Mobilität wahr. Die Radstrecken und der Start- bzw. Zielbereich wurden so konzipiert, dass sie eine einfache Anreise, auch öffentlich mit dem SAM Sammeltaxi, möglich war. Strecken für Kinder und Wanderer sowie für Profis. Alle Labestationen waren Barriere frei inklusionsfähig.

Modenschau des Second Hand Store auf dem grünen Teppich der für die Radfahrer im Ziel ausgerollt war. Großes Gewinnspiel Hauptpreis ein E-Bike. AUVA Kinderfahrsicherheitsparcours.
Jeder der ohne Auto kam erhielt ein Geschenk.
