Detailed description (English): Following an in-depth research in the way members and visitors of sports club Oranje Wit (mainly football) do travel to the venue in Dordrecht (appr. 1,600 members) a cycling promotion month will be organised.
This consists out of:
- upgrading the bicycle parking area
- a day with a mobile bike shop/ mechanical who will do small adjustments on bikes
- a month when members who do travel by bike will be rewarded with points/ stamps.
- the realization of a spot where batteries for e bikes can be charged
- promotion of easy and safe to use sport bags
- a spot where cyclist can be photographed with their bike.
This is a pilot project in the Dutch program of Tour de Force to promote more people to cycle to their sportsclub.
Detailed description (original language): Na de organisatie van de SportVerkeerScan is er een fietspromotieweek. Uit die SportVerkeerScan bleek de potentie om nog meer mensen op de fiets te laten komen naar de sportvereniging Oranje Wit (voornamelijk voetbal) in Dordrecht (ca. 1.600 leden). Daarom wordt er een fietspromotiemaand georganiseerd.
Deze bestaat uit:
- verbetering van de fietsenstalling
- een dag bij een mobiele fietsenwinkel/monteur die kleine aanpassingen aan de fietsen doet
- een maand waarin leden die met de fiets reizen, worden beloond met punten/stempels.
- het realiseren van een plek waar accu's voor e-bikes kunnen worden opgeladen
- promotie van gemakkelijk en veilig te gebruiken sporttassen
- een plek waar fietsers met hun fiets gefotografeerd kunnen worden.
