Detailed description (English): Due to the planned reconstruction of one of the kindergartens, the entire school facility was temporarily moved to another part of the city, which for a short time complicated the commuting of the concerned parents with their children. That is why the city of Banská Bystrica, in cooperation with the Slovak Environment Agency, decided to provide a school bus for the joint transportation of children and parents to a substitute school facility in the morning and in the afternoon. This activity promoted sustainable mobility, limited the individual transport of parents with their children and helped to improve the air quality in our city.
Detailed description (original language): Z dôvodu plánovanej rekonštrukcie jednej z materských škôl bolo dočasne celé školské zariadenie presťahované do inej časti mesta, čo na krátky čas skomplikovalo dochádzanie dotknutých rodičov s deťmi. Preto sa mesto Banská Bystrica v spolupráci so SAŽP rozhodlo zabezpečiť školský autobus pre spoločnú prepravu detí a rodičov do náhradného školského zariadenia ráno aj poobede. Táto aktivita podporila udržateľnú mobilitu, obmedzila individuálnu prepravu rodičov so svojimi deťmi a takisto pomohla zlepšiť kvalitu ovzdušia v našom meste.
