Detailed description (English): As part of the European Mobility Week 2025, TPBI invites the public to discover both the history and the future of rail transport in Bucharest. Visitors will have access to the CFR museum exhibition and the Royal Salon, as well as the unique opportunity to explore the Presidential Train, displayed on Line 14.
Beyond the heritage aspect, the event will also highlight the potential of modern metropolitan railway services. Special trains will operate on two future routes: Gara de Nord – Gara Obor and Gara de Nord – CFR Progresul. These trips will be connected with bus, trolleybus, and tram services provided by STB and other operators, ensuring seamless mobility across the city.
Through this initiative, carried out with the support of the Ministry of Transport, CFR SA and CFR Călători, participants will experience how sustainable transport can combine culture, history, and future-oriented solutions for everyday travel.
