Detailed description (English): Within the framework of the EU Mobility Week, Konya will organize a thematic activity aimed at aligning the city’s sustainable mobility vision with the European Union’s Green Deal, Climate Action, and Sustainable Urban Mobility principles.
Objective:
The objective is to highlight how Konya’s ongoing mobility and sustainability practices contribute to the EU’s core goals on sustainable urban transport, clean energy transition, and citizen engagement. By creating strong visibility, the activity will strengthen the connection between local practices and the EU’s overarching efforts to combat climate change and promote green mobility.
Specific Activity – Short Film (3 minutes):
A short film will be produced to showcase Konya’s sustainable mobility practices as part of the EU Mobility Week communication campaign. The film will underline how Konya’s actions are in line with the EU’s Sustainable and Smart Mobility Strategy and will serve as a model for other Turkish cities.
