Detailed description (English): Considering that over 70% of Europeans live in urban areas, it is obvious that public space is in short supply in many cities. An environment in which people, means of transport and activities have enough space promotes the common good and social equity, increases road safety, reduces air pollution and improves the quality of life. Therefore, the shared use of public space for logistical purposes is fundamental.

Dato che oltre il 70% degli europei vive in aree urbane, è ovvio che lo spazio pubblico in molte città scarseggia. Un ambiente in cui le persone, i mezzi di trasporto e le attività abbiano abbastanza spazio promuove il bene comune e l’equità sociale, aumenta la sicurezza stradale, riduce l’inquinamento atmosferico e migliora la qualità della vita. Pertanto, l’uso condiviso dello spazio pubblico a fini logistici è fondamentale.
