Detailed description (English): We are researching and exploring the routes all of our 9-12th grade students take to get to school. Once we have this info we will develop some route maps to help students choose the most sustainable method of travelling into and out of school.
Also we are working on updating our ECO School Action Plan and producing a revised version to promote to the school students and teachers.
Target group(s): All 9-12 grade students for the mobility plan and all the school - including kindergarten - for the ECO School action plan.
Objectives: To provide evidence based research on travel routes used by students to get to school and to then provide sustainable alternatives to them.
Partner: So far just the school but we hope to also work with the Vilnius City Municipality too as some of our plans and suggestions may involve changes to the bus schedules as well as provision of safer pedestrian and cycle routes.
