Detailed description (English): Urban Move Expo continues last year’s successful historic vehicle exhibition on Gheorghe Duca Boulevard, which drew transport enthusiasts of all ages. This year, the boulevard will again serve as the event’s main stage and departure point for special lines 26, 54, 58, 59, 75, 81, and 700, created for the European Mobility Week. The location was chosen as it uniquely brings together all public transport modes: train (near Gara de Nord), metro (Lines 1 & 4), tram, trolleybus, and bus.
Activities include:
- Vintage tram & utility vehicle exhibition
- Free distribution of traditional paper tickets for composting machines on special vehicles
- Limited-edition “Mobility for Everyone” travel cards (24h/72h, 500–1000 pcs) sold at Gara de Nord ticket office
- Live broadcast from Gheorghe Duca, shown on large screens in King Michael I Park & Bucharest Băneasa Airport
- Interactive public transport quiz with prizes
TPBI will also launch Mobility Lines: special tram, trolleybus, and bus routes linking cultural, historical, and religious landmarks across Bucharest–Ilfov, complemented by demo rides with the metropolitan train.
From Gheorghe Duca Boulevard, trams 26, 54, 58, 59, trolleybuses 75 & 81, and bus 700 will run. From King Michael I Park, buses 700, 701, 702, 703, 704 & 737 will ensure access to key attractions in the region.
