Detailed description (English): Press conference inaugurating the new Bike Workshop, a facility created following the completion of the restoration and redevelopment of the former railway toll booth located on Via Bianzana. The facility is managed by the FIAB Pedalopolis Bergamo Association as part of the municipal project "Bicity Bergamo," which aims to provide several important services to the community:
• bicycle repair and maintenance services;
• free courses and meetings on bicycle mechanics and training on best practices and advice on urban cycling, cycle tourism, and road safety;
• collaboration with schools, youth centers, and other associations to develop joint sustainable mobility initiatives;
• a point for receiving reports and collecting suggestions on urban cycling;
• a help desk for cycling services within the municipality;
• an information point on city cycling and cycle tourism routes in the area.
During the event, the FIAB Pedalopolis Bergamo Association will briefly demonstrate some of the services that could be implemented to promote cycling in the area.
