Detailed description (original language): Amid an escalating global climate crisis, climate action is no longer solely an international agenda but also a daily responsibility and opportunity for every community and every resident. We believe that genuine transformation is not distant; it is rooted in the fabric of our cities and reflected in the choices made by residents. The forum will be structured around three components: opening remarks by leaders, keynote speeches by experts, and a roundtable dialogue on the theme “How Can Climate Anxiety Be Transformed into Actionable Hope?” Keynote speakers and their topics included: Daizong LIU, East Asia Director of the Institute for Transportation & Development Policy (ITDP): The Countercurrent of Climate Change: New Opportunities for Green Entrepreneurship; Yixin ZHAO, Deputy Chief Engineer of the China Academy of Urban Planning & Design (CAUPD) and Director of the Research Institute of Urban Transportation: Inclusive Mobility for All: Building a Fair, Inclusive, and Sustainable Future for Urban Transportation; Ye YUAN, well-known design and science communication blogger: From Anti-Human to Emotional Value: The Design Code of Green Mobility; Hao KANG, Director of the Intelligent Transportation and Transportation Modeling Institute at CAUPD’s Research Institute of Urban Transportation: Sharing the 2025 Bike-Sharing Mobility Report; Yaqi SU, Shekou resident, community action partner, and planner: Sustainable Explorations in the Shekou Community.

Objectives: Starting from Shekou, we aspire to work with everyone to extend the concept of “inclusive mobility for all” to more cities and communities through this handbook, which brings together domestic and international best practices, thereby contributing to the joint creation of a fair, inclusive, and sustainable future for urban transportation.
