Detailed description (original language): Insieme a UNIPI, SNS, SSS, CNR di Pisa, INFN sezione di Pisa percorreremo le vie della città in bicicletta, perché andare a lavoro in bici è bellissimo! Chiedi al tuo ente di appartenenza cosa ha organizzato per questo giorno, poi ci ritroveremo alle 9.45 in piazza Dei Cavalieri per la pedalata collettiva!
Target group(s): Employees and students of universities and research institutes in Pisa
Objectives: Promote cycling as a healthy, sustainable and enjoyable way to commute to work.
Raise public awareness about the environmental and social benefits of choosing the bike over a car.
Encourage universities and research institutes (UNIPI, SNS, SSS, CNR, INFN) to organise supportive activities or incentives for cycling.
Build a visible, community-driven demonstration of everyday bike mobility to inspire others.
Strengthen connections among cyclists and local institutions through a collective ride and shared conversation.
Highlight the need for safer, more secure bicycle parking and better cycling infrastructure in the city.
