Detailed description (English): Within the scope of European Mobility Week, Nilüfer Municipality carried out events in cooperation with the Directorate of Climate Change and Zero Waste, Directorate of Youth and Sports Services, Police Department and Nilüfer Citizens' Council, between 16-22 September, aims to encourage citizens in Nilüfer to use alternative means of transportation to fossil fuel vehicles and to increase mobility.
Some of these events include the Bicycle Academy organized by Nilüfer City Council, Zumba for both Children and Adults, Racket Sports Tournament, Aerobics, Gym, Artistic Gymnastics Show, Karate Show, Children Judo Show, Children Taekwondo Show, Water Skiing, Childhood Street Games, Survivor Osmangazi Event and the 16th Traditional Tophane-Nilüfer-Mudanya Bicycle Tour.
Detailed description (original language): Continuing its activities until the last day of the week within the scope of 2024 European Mobility Week, Nilüfer Municipality evaluated the Tophane-Nilüfer-Mudanya Cycling Tour within this scope. The Traditional Tophane to Mudanya Cycling Tour, organized with the organization of Nilüfer Municipality, Nilüfer City Council, Mudanya Municipality, Turkish Cycling Federation and Tophane Rotary Club, took place with intense participation. In the cycling tour, attention was drawn with a banner reading "We pedal with you for healthy and safe mobility", for European Mobility Week, which is celebrated every year in order to encourage cities and local governments to take sustainable transportation measures.
