Detailed description (English): As part of the public transport service delegation in the Bucharest-Ilfov region, operators are encouraged to reduce fuel consumption and improve energy efficiency. Under the Efficiency Plan, any operator that saves at least 2% of diesel fuel receives a bonus calculated based on the volume of fuel saved. This incentive applies to STB SA, STV SA, and Ecotrans STCM SRL, which can earn up to 15% of the value of savings per kilometer traveled. For Regio Serv Transport SRL, the plan applies from the second year of the contract. This permanent initiative promotes sustainable urban mobility, reduces environmental impact, and encourages responsible use of energy resources across all public transport services.
