Detailed description (English): ADENE promoted a session for its employees to raise awareness about transport poverty issues and the use of soft modes and public transportation.
The first part of the event included a presentation regarding transport poverty, which covered its dimensions – affordability, availability, accessibility and adequacy – as well as measures to mitigate transport poverty in all four dimensions. An example of how to assess transport poverty was also presented, based on the commuting experiences of 12 ADENE employees who had previously been interviewed.
Afterwards, ADENE’s employees were invited to walk, cycle or take public transportation from the office to a park, encouraging them to try new modes of transportation in the city.
Target group(s): ADENE employees
Objectives: Promote the use of slow modes and public transportation and raise awareness to transport poverty
