Detailed description (English): We launched the GoodWatt system at EPS Barthélemy Durand to allow 20 agents to discover electric bikes free of charge for 1 month.
A call for applications was launched and 20 agents were selected according to criteria, including people who usually come to work by car and whose home-work distance is less than 15 km (10 agents in Etampes and 10 in Sainte-Geneviève-des-Bois).
The experiment takes place from September 17 to October 15, 2024.
For 1 month, the agent benefits from the free loan of an electric bike and all its accessories (helmet, lock, bags, child seat (if necessary), smartphone holder, reflective vest, rain gear, puncture spray ) for professional and personal travel. He also benefits from insurance, assistance, digital coaching, training in knowing how to drive in town to get started in complete safety as well as a mobile application to help and motivate him on a daily basis. .
The objective is to “make cyclists” and change habits. We want to show the agents benefiting from the system (and their colleagues) that it is possible to come to work by bike, while reducing their impact on the climate and improving their health.
Detailed description (original language): Nous avons lancé le dispositif GoodWatt à l’EPS Barthélemy Durand afin de permettre à 20 agents de découvrir gratuitement le vélo électrique pendant 1 mois.
Un appel à candidatures a été lancé et 20 agents ont été sélectionnés selon des critères, et notamment des personnes qui viennent habituellement en voiture au travail et dont la distance domicile-travail est inférieure à 15 km (10 agents à Etampes et 10 à Sainte-Geneviève-des-Bois).
L’expérimentation se déroule du 17 septembre au 15 octobre 2024.
Pendant 1 mois, l’agent bénéficie gratuitement du prêt d’un vélo électrique et de tous ses accessoires (casque, antivol, sacoches, siège-enfant (si besoin), support smartphone, gilet réfléchissant, vêtement de pluie, bombe anti-crevaison) pour ses déplacements professionnels et personnels. Il bénéficie également de l’assurance, de l’assistance, d’un coaching digital, d’une formation au savoir rouler en ville pour se lancer en toute sécurité ainsi que d’une application mobile pour l’aider et le motiver au quotidien.
L’objectif est de « fabriquer des cyclistes » et de faire changer les habitudes. On veut montrer aux agents bénéficiaires du dispositif (et à leurs collègues) que cela est possible de venir au travail en vélo, tout en diminuant leur impact sur le climat et en améliorant leur santé.
