Detailed description (English): Małopolska Voivodeship once again actively joined in the celebration of Mobility Week. The culmination of all events was the Car Free Day. On that day Koleje Małopolskie offered a train ticket for 1PLN. In many cities in the region it was possible to switch from one's car to public transportation and travel for free.
Employees of the Marshal's Office, together with Deputy Marshal Lukasz Smolka, promoted bicycle transportation and the use of personal transportation devices. On September 22, they rode along Krakow's bike paths on their unicycles and scooters in the early morning. Employees who came to work without a car received symbolic gadgets useful for daily cycling.
Małopolska municipalities joined in the celebration of this special week. The Marshal's Office prepared a special presentation on energy saving, which Eco-advisers employed by the municipalities used to organize lessons in schools and educate the youngest about sustainable transportation and energy saving. Municipalities and cities organized events to promote sustainable transportation, such as games of contests, theaters for the youngest, or bicycle rallies and bike rides to work with local authorities.
Municipalities also organized such activities as the setting up of a bicycle traffic town where children could try out rally simulators, solar go-karts that draw energy from the sun's rays, and a stationary bicycle that produced electricity by working the user's muscles.
All of this to educate, support green transportation and improve the quality of life for residents of the region and Europe as a whole.
Detailed description (original language): Województwo Małopolskie po raz kolejny aktywnie włączyło się w obchody Tygodnia Mobilności. Kulminacją wszystkich wydarzeń był „Dzień bez samochodu” w którym Koleje Małopolskie oferowały przejazdy za symboliczne 1zł. W wielu miastach województwa można było za darmo przesiąść się z samochodu do komunikacji miejskiej i podróżować bez opłat.
Pracownicy Urzędu Marszałkowskiego wraz z wicemarszałkiem województwa – Łukaszem Smółką, promowali transport rowerowy oraz wykorzystanie urządzeń transportu osobistego. 22 września w Dzień bez Samochodu, wczesnym rankiem przejechali krakowskimi ścieżkami rowerowymi na swoich jednośladach i hulajnogach. Ci, którzy przybyli do pracy rowerami lub hulajnogami otrzymali symboliczne gadżety przydatne w codziennej jeździe na tych pojazdach.
W obchody tego wyjątkowego dnia włączyły się także małopolskie gminy. Urząd Marszałkowski przygotował specjalną prezentację o oszczędzaniu energii, którą Ekodoradcy zatrudnieni w gminach wykorzystali do przeprowadzenia lekcji w szkołach i edukacji najmłodszych o zrównoważonym transporcie i oszczędzaniu energii. Gminy i miasta organizowały wydarzenia promujące tematykę zrównoważonego transportu, takie jak konkursy, teatrzyki dla najmłodszych czy rajdy rowerowe i przejazdy do pracy z włodarzami. Na wyróżnienie zasługują tez takie akcje jak np. utworzenie rowerowego miasteczka ruchu w którym dzieci mogły wypróbować symulatory rajdowe, gokarty solarne, czerpiące energię z promieni słonecznych czy stacjonarny rower, który poprzez pracę mięśni użytkownika produkował prąd.
Target group(s): The main target groups and beneficiaries of the campaign were residents of the Malopolska Region. The campaigns promoted environmentally friendly transportation, offering residents free rides and encouraging the use of bicycles and scooters. Municipalities were involved in school education and organizing events, through which young school students in particular also benefited.
