Detailed description (English): On September 18, at 5:30 p.m., at the Municipal Library Eng. Jorge Bento, we will present and discuss the ideas of the manifesto Condeixa Alive and Accessible.
Condeixa Alive and Accessible is a locally focused adaptation of the Living Cities manifesto by MUBi, which sets out a vision for healthier, safer, more resilient, and more sustainable cities. It places active mobility — including cycling — at the top of the mobility pyramid and proposes the priority steps to achieve this goal.
Planning for the future, protecting people’s daily lives, designing the city in an equitable way, and activating sustainable mobility are the key points that will set the tone for a conversation about Condeixa (and beyond), with the participation of João Monteiro (UC, IPC), Luís Neto (Coimbr'a Pedal), Mário Alves (MUBi), and Patrícia Ribeiro (CMC).
Detailed description (original language): No próximo dia 18 de setembro (quinta-feira), às 17h30 , na Biblioteca Municipal Eng. Jorge Bento, vamos apresentar e debater as ideias do manifesto Condeixa Viva e Acessível .
Condeixa Viva e Acessível é uma adaptação de cariz local do manifesto Cidades Vivas da MUBi que estabelece uma visão de cidades mais saudáveis, seguras, resilientes e sustentáveis, que põem a mobilidade ativa — incluindo a bicicleta — no topo da pirâmide da mobilidade, e propõe os passos prioritários para alcançar esse objetivo.
Planear o futuro, proteger o dia-a-dia das pessoas, desenhar a urbe de forma equitativa e ativar a mobilidade sustentável são os pontos-chave que darão o mote para uma conversa sobre Condeixa (e não só) que contará com a participação de João Monteiro (UC, IPC), Luís Neto (Coimbr'a Pedal), Mário Alves (MUBi) e Patrícia Ribeiro (CMC).
