Detailed description (English): "A Day Without Cars" in the City Centre of the Capital: An Initiative of European Mobility Week
The Chisinau City Hall and the General Directorate of Urban Mobility have once again aligned with the "European Mobility Week" initiative this year, offering a programme of activities aimed at promoting the significance of public transport and raising awareness among the city's residents about the benefits of using sustainable modes of transport.
Under the theme "A Day Without Cars," the event will take place on Saturday, 21st September, in Chisinau between the intersections of Vlaicu Pârcălab and Veronica Micle streets, from 10:00 to 14:00.
In parallel, an area within the historic centre of the Capital will be closed to vehicular traffic on Saturday, between 10:00 and 20:00, and will be designated exclusively for pedestrians, cyclists, scooters, and other alternative means of transport.
• Area closed to motorised vehicles: Strada 31 August 1989 (between Alexandr Pușkin and Vasile Alecsandri) Vlaicu Pârcălab Street (between Bucharest and Ștefan cel Mare and Sfânt) Veronica Micle Street (between Alexandr Pușkin and Mihai Eminescu).
Residents of Chisinau, as well as visitors of all ages, are invited to participate in the event, whether by walking, scootering, cycling, rollerblading, or joining the programme organised by the General Directorate of Urban Mobility.

Primăria Municipiului Chișinău și Direcția Generală Mobilitate Urbană s-au aliniat și în acest an inițiativei „????????̆????????????̆????????̂???????? ????????????????????????????????????̆ ???? ????????????????????????????????̆????̦????????”, pregătind un program de activități, menit să promoveze importanța transportului public dar și să crească gradul de conștientizare în rândul locuitorilor orașului privind beneficiile utilizării mijloacelor de transport sustenabile.
Sub genericul „???? ???????? ????????̆????????̆ ????????????̦????????????”, evenimentul se va desfășura sâmbătă, 21 septembrie, la intersecția străzilor Vlaicu Pârcălab și Veronica Micle, în intervalul orelor 10:00-14:00.
În același timp, o zonă din Centrul istoric al Capitalei va fi închisă pentru circulația transportului auto, pe durata zilei de sâmbătă, între orele 10:00 – 20:00, fiind destinată exclusiv deplasării pietonilor, bicicliștilor, trotinetelor și altor mijloace de transport alternativ:
