City Flows is an international event organised during the European Mobility Week 2025, dedicated to exploring inequalities in access to safe and sustainable mobility. It brings together researchers, institutions and organisations from Italy and across Europe to focus on how mobility impacts the lives of people living in peripheral or inner areas, as well as migrant communities and those experiencing transport poverty.
The event will feature original research, comparative data and concrete case studies on road safety, inclusion, and the role of mobility in enabling social participation. City Flows is also the launch platform for a new multi-year programme by Fondazione Unipolis focused on equitable mobility.
The conference will take place in Perugia, Italy, and will be streamed live in both Italian and English. It aims to offer tools, ideas and inspiration to build mobility systems that are truly inclusive, safe, and accessible to all.

City Flows è un appuntamento internazionale organizzato nell’ambito della Settimana Europea della Mobilità 2025, dedicato a esplorare le disuguaglianze nell’accesso a una mobilità sicura e sostenibile. Riunisce ricercatori, istituzioni e organizzazioni dall’Italia e da diversi Paesi europei per approfondire come la mobilità incida sulla vita delle persone che vivono nelle aree interne o periferiche, delle comunità migranti e di chi si trova in condizioni di povertà di mobilità.
L’evento presenterà ricerche inedite, dati comparativi e casi studio concreti su sicurezza stradale, inclusione e sul ruolo della mobilità come leva di partecipazione sociale. Sarà anche l’occasione per lanciare il nuovo programma pluriennale della Fondazione Unipolis dedicato alla mobilità equa.
La conferenza si svolgerà a Perugia e sarà trasmessa in diretta streaming in italiano e in inglese. L’obiettivo è offrire strumenti, idee e ispirazione per costruire sistemi di mobilità davvero inclusivi, sicuri e accessibili a tutte e tutti.
