Detailed description (English): As part of European Mobility Week, Eskişehirspor will host a "Goal: Net Zero Carbon Match Day" event for our match on Sunday, September 21, 2025. This initiative is a core part of our club's social responsibility vision, uniting the power of sport with a commitment to environmental justice and a sustainable future for our community.
The day's events will start early with a community garbage collection to promote a clean environment and a free bicycle repair workshop at Velespid (Bicycle) Park. These activities are designed to offer tangible ways for the community to engage in sustainability.
Following these activities, a celebratory 2.22 km bicycle convoy will lead the way from Velesbid Park to the Sazova Park nearby to the stadium, with a parallel walking group on the same route. This highly visible journey is a symbolic movement to highlight green transportation.
Once at the stadium, a vibrant fan zone will come alive, offering various sports activities and spaces for everyone to enjoy. Throughout the day, fans will be actively encouraged to travel by bicycle, on foot, or by using shared public transportation. Participants in the convoy will receive special vests made from sustainable materials, amplifying our message of "visibility + zero carbon."
This collaborative effort, involving various municipalities and clubs, aims to mobilize over 15,000 active participants on match day. Our goal is to create a lasting impact that extends beyond a single event, building a new culture of mobility and sustainability for Eskişehir.
Detailed description (original language): Avrupa Hareketlilik Haftası kapsamında, Eskişehirspor olarak 21 Eylül 2025 Pazar günü oynanacak maçımız için "Hedef: Net Sıfır Karbon Maç Günü" etkinliğine ev sahipliği yapacağız. Bu etkinlik, kulübümüzün sosyal sorumluluk vizyonunun temel bir parçası olup, sporun gücünü çevresel adalet ve toplumumuz için sürdürülebilir bir gelecek taahhüdüyle birleştirmektedir.
Gün, Velespid (Bisiklet) Parkı'nda düzenlenecek, çevreyi korumayı amaçlayan bir toplumsal çöp toplama etkinliği ve ücretsiz bisiklet tamir atölyesi ile erken saatte başlayacaktır. Bu etkinlikler, toplumun sürdürülebilirlik çabalarına somut yollarla katılımını sağlamak için tasarlanmıştır.
Bu etkinliklerin ardından, 2.22 km'lik coşkulu bir bisiklet korteji, Velespid Parkı'ndan stadyumun yakınındaki Sazova Parkı'na doğru ilerleyecek ve aynı güzergahta bir yürüyüş grubu da yer alacaktır. Bu, yeşil ulaşımı vurgulamak için gerçekleştirilen sembolik bir harekettir.
