Detailed description (English): HEALTHY YOUTH is an interactive educational initiative designed to promote the principles of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). It emphasises movement and mobility as vital elements of well-being and sustainable living. The activity engages young people through dynamic workshops, challenges, and awareness campaigns that highlight the importance of a sustainable approach and physical activity in daily life.
Participants explore how regular movement supports both personal health (SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being) and environmental sustainability by adopting eco-friendly transportation methods such as walking, cycling, or using public transit (SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities).
Through team-based activities, students develop strategies for integrating movement into routines while learning to reduce their carbon footprint. The project encourages critical thinking, civic responsibility, and long-term lifestyle changes, making the learning process both engaging and practical.
HEALTHY YOUTH empowers the next generation to live healthier lives while contributing to a more sustainable planet.
