Detailed description (English): The Slovak Environment Agency organized a study trip to Denmark within the LIFE IP project – Improving Air Quality. The study trip in Copenhagen included a visit to the European Environment Agency where participants learned about data verification, the preparation of assessment reports and the new air quality index. In the Danish organization of local governments, they discussed reducing number of Danish municipalities from 1388 to 98. They also participated in measurements of ultrafine particles and compared the results with measurements from Slovakia. They obtained information about the impact of pollution on the health of residents and experienced the city's cycling infrastructure. They also focused on solid fuel heating, modern technologies and visited a waste incineration plant, where heat is used to supply households. Copenhagen inspired with functional public spaces for everyone, order in the streets and the satisfaction on the faces of its residents and the atmosphere of "hygge".
Detailed description (original language): Slovenská agentúra životného prostredia v rámci projektu LIFE IP – Zlepšenie kvality ovzdušia organizovala študijnú cestu do Dánska. Študijná cesta v Kodani zahŕňa návštevu Európskej environmentálnej agentúry, kde sa účastníci oboznámili s overovaním dát, prípravou hodnotiacich správ a novým indexom kvality ovzdušia. V dánskej organizácii samospráv diskutovali o znížení počtu dánskych samospráv zo 1388 na 98. Tiež sa zúčastnili meraní ultrajemných častíc a porovnali výsledky s meraním zo Slovenska. Získali informácie o vplyve znečistenia na zdravie obyvateľov a zažili mestskú cykloinfraštruktúru. Venovali sa aj vykurovaniu tuhým palivom, moderným technológiám a navštívili spaľovňu odpadu, kde sa teplo využíva na zásobovanie domácností. Kodaň inšpirovala funkčnými verejnými priestormi pre všetkých, poriadkom v uliciach a spokojnosťou na tvárach jeho obyvateľov a atmosférou „hygge“.
