Detailed description (English): The “Energy Roadshow” provides information and training programs that bring knowledge to citizens, students and municipalities, inspiring them to learn more about the energy sector and how cities may contribute to create a more sustainable world.
In the European Mobility Week, a special edition of the “Energy Roadshow” took place in Escola Básica Dr Nuno Cordeiro Ferreira and Escola Básica S. João de Brito during the “mobility mornings” organized by Lisbon Municipality.
These sessions included a presentation about the various transport modes and their energy use, as well as an exercise to identify the most sustainable form of transport for school commuting in six distinct scenarios.
Focused on energy efficiency and sustainable mobility, the sessions reached 143 students.
Target group(s): 3rd and 4th grade students
Objectives: Increase students' awareness of the impact of transport on energy consumption and promote sustainable mobility.
