Detailed description (English): On 22 September 2025 at 18:00, an event was organized within the Sakarya University Campus with 100 bicycles as part of the World Car-Free City Day. Coinciding with the opening of the 2025-2026 academic year, this important day was led by the Sakarya University Eurodesk Contact Point in cooperation with the Sakarya Metropolitan Municipality, Serdivan Municipality, and the Adapazarı District Directorate of Youth and Sports.
The 100-person bicycle cortege, which started from the center of the campus, attracted the attention of the students, while in the morning students also had the opportunity to get acquainted with Rowing Ergometer, Bocce, and Foot Tennis. In addition, starting from 10:00 a.m., a stand was set up where students were informed through Eurodesk about European education and training opportunities, as well as the significance of the European Mobility Week.
Detailed description (original language): 22 Eylül 2025 günü saat 18:00'de "Dünya Otomobilsiz Şehir Günü" kapsamında Sakarya Üniversitesi Kampüsü içerisinde 100 bisiklet ile bir organizasyon düzenlendi. 2025-2026 akademik yılının açılışına denk gelen bu önemli günde Sakarya Üniversitesi Eurodesk Temas Noktası liderliğinde ve Sakarya Büyükşehir Belediyesi başta olmak üzere Serdivan Belediyesi, Adapazarı Gençlik ve Spor İlçe Müdürlüğü ile birlikte organizasyon yapıldı.
Kampüsün merkezinden başlayan 100 kişilik kortej kampüs içerisinde bulunan öğrencilerin ilgisini çekerken, sabahtan Kürek Ergometresi, Bocce ve Ayak Tenisi branşlarıyla da öğrenciler tanışma fırsatı yakaladılar. Ayrıca yine sabah saat 10:00'dan itibaren kurulan standda öğrencilere Eurodesk aracılığıyla hem Avrupa eğitim ve öğretim fırsatları hakkında bilgi verildi, hem de Avrupa Hareketlilik Haftası'nın öneminden bahsedildi.
