Detailed description (English): It is a proposal addressed to Italian municipalities, to Mobility Managers of institutions and companies, to associations and to all interested citizens. The Giretto is a competition between cities aimed at promoting home-work and/or home-school commutes made by bike, with the use of other electric micromobility means (electric scooters, monowheel, E-bike, electric mopeds, hoverboard, segway). To participate, just go to work or school using one of the mentioned means, passing through one of the checkpoints located in all Italian cities that have joined the initiative, within the time slot dedicated to monitoring (2 hours between 7:00 and 10:00 in the morning). The winning city of the challenge will be the city that, during the monitoring period, totals the highest number of commutes, and therefore passages, made with sustainable mobility means.
Detailed description (original language): È una proposta indirizzata ai comuni italiani, ai Mobility Manager di enti e imprese, alle associazioni e a tutti i cittadini interessati. Il Giretto è una gara tra città tesa a promuovere gli spostamenti casa-lavoro e/o casa-scuola effettuati in bici, con l’utilizzo di altri mezzi di micromobilità elettrica (monopattini elettrici, monowheel, E-bike, motorini elettrici, hoverboard, segway). Per partecipare basta recarsi al lavoro o a scuola utilizzando uno dei mezzi sopra indicati, passando in uno dei check point previsti in tutte le città d’Italia che hanno aderito all’iniziativa, nella fascia oraria dedicata al monitoraggio (2 ore a scelta tra le 7.00 e le 10.00 del mattino ).
Sarà vincitrice della sfida la città che totalizzerà, nel periodo di monitoraggio, il maggior numero di spostamenti, e quindi di passaggi, effettuati con mezzi di mobilità sostenibile.
