Detailed description (English): Adaptation of the street to current accessibility regulations through vertical displacement elements.
The project is being carried out to adapt Pintor Villar Chao Street to current accessibility regulations, thereby improving the street's usability for users and addressing the following needs:
Providing a pedestrian route free of mechanical elements in case they need to be stopped for maintenance or if pedestrians require them.
Overcoming the difference in elevation between Pintor Villar Chao and Juan Montes Streets using vertical access points.
Compliance with accessibility regulations.
Implementing a solution with the least possible horizontal footprint and complexity, seeking maximum integration with the existing environment and minimizing visual impact.
Assessing the affected utilities within the project area, paying particular attention to the transformer, owned by Unión Fenosa Distribución, located beneath the existing stair landing.
