Objectives: “The theme of this year’s European Mobility Week is ‘Mobility for All,’” says the President of the Park, Prof. Basilio Monaci, “and that is exactly what the Serio Park is trying to achieve wherever the territory allows. Added to this is the importance of carrying out outdoor activities, and for this purpose parks are a fertile and ideal ground, particularly river parks, which offer an almost entirely flat landscape.”
“To show how important it is to take care of our territory, while also keeping a broader perspective around us, I proposed this two-day bike ride to the Serio Park, and the Park immediately welcomed the idea with enthusiasm,” adds the Mayor of Pedrengo, Simona D’Alba. “The aim is to enhance our territory, also from a sporting and tourism perspective, while at the same time learning to respect it and travel through it without causing harm or disturbance to the Nature that hosts us.”
