Detailed description (English): “Grupo Tragsa”, a Spanish public company, is committed to sustainable mobility and will carry out various actions during the EUROPEAN MOBILITY WEEK 2019 aimed at improving and raising awareness among its workers, as part of its Strategic Plan for Sustainable Mobility, such as:
- Challenge group tragsa walks:
During the week, from 16 to 22, through the Ciclogreen mobile application, a competition will be established between the group's own offices and all employees, so that the participants will add their kilometers of travel by walking or running to the computation of their office . There will be a prize for the winning office (highest average of “walking” km) and for the first 3 employees with the highest ranking of km traveled.
- Carsharing promotion:
It has been agreed with a carsharing company: current SHARENOW (former CAR2GO) the possibility of offering a promotional code so that it can be used during that week by our employees
- Free maintenance of employees' bicycles:
Free bicycle maintenance for all employees during the mobility week, specialised repair shop staff will review each bicycle status at their workshop. There will be another service available to have changes or repairs made if needed (in case of requests, this last service will be paid by the owner). This action will be carried out at Tragsa Group headquarters in Madrid, and several offices nationwide, including eleven cities.
- Communication:
News regarding EUROPEAN MOBILITY WEEK and other important information such as the naming of the winner office of the previous challenge (2018), a brief about mobility written by the Health and Safety Department, banners & FAQ regarding mobility, announcements and final results of the inter-office walking challenge planned for the Mobility Week of September 2019 will be accessible to almost all employees on the Intranet Service.
- Mobility maps:
Maps have been drawn up for the 8 main offices, in a folded format. These will be distributed during that week to employees and visitors. Those maps include the estimated distances and times, on foot and by bicycle; nearby bicycle parking lots, public bicycle loan points, public transport stops and distances to the main communication nodes or intermodal transport stations.
- Car free day celebration:
A survey will take place on September 20th among all workers, about the transport modes used to get to work during this “Car-free day”. The information obtained will be used to determine the office in which employees have traveled the longest distance in a sustainable way.
Finally, to keep raising awareness to the staff, a commemorative pen will be given to each employee, who respond with their contribution to sustainable mobility of that day . There will be a prize raffle too, for the winner office and and for the three employees who walk the most kilometers.
