Detailed description (English): In May 22, we launched a mobility challenge which took the form of challenges on social networks and initiatives on campus around the promotion of soft mobility. The week started with a breakfast offered to ICHEC users coming by soft mobility and ended, on May 6, with a "car-free campus" day, i.e. the occupation of parking spaces by actions related to soft mobility (bike repair workshop, launch of the carpool application, awareness card for other means of transport). During this week, a communication campaign took place around "The Bike Project" and the infrastructures made available in order to encourage more environmentally friendly modes of transport. More than a hundred students and colleagues had the opportunity to reflect on their mode of transport and, for others, to try out bicycles free of charge as well as to follow a training course on responsible driving in town.
Target group(s): Students and faculty members
Objectives: Rise awareness and engage ICHEC community around sustainable and active mobility
