Detailed description (original language): Der Tag der Schiene findet 2023 soll uns dafür begeistern, wie klimafreundlich, zukunftsorientiert und vielfältig die Schiene ist. Der Tag der Schiene wird überall in Deutschland gefeiert. Am Samstag, den 16.9. auch im Kasseler Hauptbahnhof. cantus, Kurhessenbahn und RegioTram laden alle an diesem Tag ein, in den Fahrzeugen und durch Gespräche mit Mitarbeitenden aus den Verkehrsunternehmen Einblicke in ihre fachliche Arbeit zu gewinnen. Und das auf unterhaltsame Art und Weise. So kann man z. B. an einem Fahrsimulator einmal selbst erleben, wie es sich anfühlt, einen Zug zu steuern.
Neben ganz vielen Informationen über den Schienennahverkehr soll an diesem Tag aber auch gesellig sein und gefeiert werden. Für das leibliche Wohl wird gesorgt und stimmungsvolle Livemusik bringt alle in Schwung. Damit auch wirklich die ganze Familie Spaß an dem Fest hat, gibt es auch ein eigenes Programm für die Kinder.
