Detailed description (English): The Sustainable Mobility Working Group of the province of Jaén was established in 2019 to share experiences and proposals, to coordinate and try to join forces among all the agents of the province involved in Sustainable Mobility. The member organizations are: city councils, educational centers that work in Sustainable Mobility, Associations of Mothers and Fathers of Students AMPAS, Associations of people with reduced mobility: FEJIDIF, Association of life for cyclists and the Departments of Development, Education and Traffic Headquarters.
Detailed description (original language): Será la tercera vez que se reúne este Grupo de trabajo en la provincia para compartir experiencias y mejores prácticas de movilidad sostenible.
Se invitará a expertos en la materia de otras provincias y a los ayuntamientos de la provincia de Jaén que ya trabajan en movilidad para compartirán sus buenas prácticas y trabajos para mejorar la movilidad en sus municipios.
Target group(s): City councils, educational centers, Associations of Mothers and Fathers of Students AMPAS, Associations of people with reduced mobility: FEJIDIF, Association involved in mobility and general public.
Objectives: - Promote sustainable mobility, from different areas and with the collaboration of different entities and groups.
- Achieve collaboration between institutions specifying the role of each institution for each program.
- Sharing of experiences and proposals, to coordinate all those involved in sustainable mobility and join forces.
- Sharing experiences to the groups that work in the province to improve sustainable mobility.
- Publicize actions that aim to implement both corrective measures in urbanization and planning, as well as more sustainable forms of travel (walking, cycling and public transport).
- Knowing modes of transport that make economic growth, social cohesion and defense of the environment compatible.
- Study the implementation of some measures to improve mobility, in the areas with the most problems: educational centers, choosing “school paths” as a pilot experience.
- Present and analyze some examples of activities, representative of the works carried out.
- Improve the quality of life for citizens.
