Detailed description (English): Presentation day and delivery of the drafting and updating of the new Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans, for 15 municipalities with less than 50,000 inhabitants in the province.
After the execution of the works, by the winning company in charge of updating and redrafting these sustainable urban mobility plans, these municipalities will already have a roadmap document, with a set of actions that aim to implement more sustainable forms of movement in their urban spaces, and as a priority: walking, bicycling or using public transport.
The purpose of the conference and presentation is the delivery of each document to each town hall, after a presentation and summary by the winning company.
The implementation of the SUMP in each municipality will include measures such as: prioritization of the road network, integration of mobility networks, reorganization of loading and unloading and parking, accessibility for all citizens, pedestrianization of historic centers, reorganization of public spaces , modification of social mobility habits and promotion of more efficient forms of transport such as the bicycle, VMP or walking.

Detailed description (original language): Jornada de presentación y entrega de la redacción y actualización de los nuevos Planes de Movilidad Urbana Sostenible, para 15 municipios de menos de 50.000 habitantes de la provincia.
Tras la ejecución de los trabajos, por parte de la empresa adjudicatarias encargada de la actualización y nueva redacción de estos planes de movilidad urbana sostenible, estos ayuntamientos ya dispondrán de un documento de hoja de ruta, con un conjunto de actuaciones que tienen como objetivo implantar formas de desplazamientos más sostenibles en sus espacios urbanos, y prioritariamente: caminar, pedalear o utilizar el transporte público.
El objeto de la jornada y presentación, es la entrega de cada documento a cada ayuntamiento, tras una presentación y resumen por parte de la empresa adjudicataria.
La puesta en marcha del PMUS de cada municipio incluirá medidas como: jerarquización de la red viaria, integración de redes de movilidad, reorganización de la carga y descarga y el aparcamiento, accesibilidad para todos los ciudadanos, peatonalización de centros históricos, reordenación de espacios públicos, modificación de hábitos sociales de movilidad y potenciación de formas de transporte más eficientes como la bicicleta, VMP o peatonal.

Objectives: The general objectives proposed by these new documents are the different commitments established by the Area of Ecological Transition and Sustainable Urban Development in terms of mobility:
• Reduce dependency on private motorized transport.
• Increase the percentage of journeys by public transport, pedestrians, bicycles and VMP.
• Promote alternatives to avoid the use of private motor vehicles.
• Reduce the impact of transportation on the environment and public health.
As a tool for achieving these objectives, the Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans are considered, at the state and European level, as one of the most important management instruments, in order to comply with the different existing commitments to fight against Climate Change, taking into account the characteristics of each municipality and aimed at solving the dysfunctions linked to traffic and the patterns of occupation of public spaces.
