Detailed description (English): The 4th and 5th grade classes have created their ideal sustainable city. These cities have been made with reused materials that the students brought from home, such as cereal boxes, toilet paper rolls or plastic bottle caps. The aim of this task was to raise awareness among the students about how our means of transportation affect the environment.
First of all, we had a talk about the transports we use to move around our city. Then, we analysed their impact on the environment. We realized that many of these transports need gasoline and emit co2 gases.
After this conversation, we discussed how an emission-free city should be. Finally, they built their green cities and recorded some videos about them. We hope these videos contribute to change our everyday actions so we can have a better Planet!
Target group(s): To all the citizens.
Objectives: To promote a sustainable mobility.
