Detailed description (English): Multimodal and aware of the advantages of being able to use different modes of transport to move around the city as convenient, so are the people of Madrid, according to the I GoTo Multimodal Mobility Study 2021. In fact, 70% of those surveyed state that at least half of their trips in the city are already multimodal. Eighty-six percent point out that carpooling is a key tool for improving mobility within cities.
In this context, GoTo Global, the world's leading provider of multimodal mobility services, promoted the first edition of DM3: Madrid's MultiModality Day on May 14. The initiative, wich responded to the vision and values of the company, convinced that the future of mobility lies in electric multimodality, sought to raise awareness of the advantages that the use of different modes of transport brings to their daily mobility in the city, depending on the convenience for the user.
GoTo, has recently deployed in Madrid the first truly multimodal electric fleet of urban mobility traveled with a fleet of various electric vehicles, emblematic areas of the city center to make visible how multimodality contributes to environmental care and, at the same time, makes cities more livable and sustainable.
"Among our values as a company, sustainability stands out and in our DNA is written the electric multimodal transport, which puts the user at the center and meets their needs in an efficient way, but at the same time sustainable and careful with the environment. That is why we are launching this initiative, to demonstrate that there are various transportation alternatives possible and within the reach of all the people of Madrid", says Marie Lindström, GoTo's country manager in Spain.
We complemented this action with a microinfluencer campaign to amplify and boost the iniciative with an strategy in corporate social media channel that showing what is multimodality and its benefits in daily life.
This was the first edition of DM3: Madrid's MultiModality Day and and we will be happy if in the next editions we have the institutional support and the rest of the partners in the sector.
Detailed description (original language): Multimodales y conscientes de las ventajas que aporta poder utilizar diferentes modos de trasporte para moverse por la ciudad según sea conveniente, así son los madrileños, según apunta el I Estudio GoTo de Movilidad Multimodal 2021. De hecho, el 70% de los encuestados declara que al menos la mitad de sus traslados en la ciudad ya son multimodales. El 86%, apunta como el alquiler por minutos de vehículos compartidos supone una herramienta clave para mejorar la movilidad dentro de las ciudades.
En este contexto, GoTo Global, proveedor de servicios de movilidad multimodal del mundo, impulsó el pasado día 14 de mayo la I edición de DM3: Día Madrileño de la MultiModalidad. La iniciativa, que responde a la visión y a los valores de la compañía convencida que de que el futuro de la movilidad pasa por la multimodalidad eléctrica, busca concienciar sobre las ventajas que aporta a su día a día de la movilidad en la ciudad, el uso de diversos modos transportes en función de la conveniencia para el usuario.
GoTo, recientemente ha desplegado en Madrid la primera flota eléctrica realmente multimodal de movilidad urbana, y el pasado 14 de mayo, recorrió con una flota de diversos vehículos eléctricos, zonas emblemáticas del centro de la ciudad para visibilizar como la multimodalidad contribuye al cuidado del medio ambiente y, al mismo tiempo, hace que las ciudades sean más habitables y sostenibles. “Entre nuestros valores como compañía destaca la sostenibilidad y en nuestro ADN está escrito el transporte multimodal eléctrico, que ponga al usuario en el centro y satisfaga sus necesidades de una forma eficaz, pero al mismo tiempo sostenible y cuidadosa con el medio ambiente. Por eso ponemos en marcha esta iniciativa, para demostrar que hay diversas alternativas de transporte posibles y al alcance de todos los madrileños”, comenta Marie Lindström, country manager de GoTo en España.
Complementamos esta acción con una campaña de microinfluenciar para amplificar e impulsar la iniciativa con una estrategia en el canal de redes sociales corporativas que muestra lo que es la multimodalidad y sus beneficios en la vida diaria.
Esta fue la primera edición de DM3: El Día de la MultiModalidad de Madrid y estaremos contentos si en las próximas ediciones contamos con el apoyo institucional y el resto de socios del sector.
