Detailed description (English): From September 16 to 22, citizens will be able to participate in the daily program of activities that the company has prepared that will take place throughout Spain.
People of all ages will be able to discover both the mobility products that Decathlon makes available to them and the physical and mental benefits associated with changing habits in the way they get around. Some of the workshops planned include: bicycle repair and maintenance; test of electric scooters and bicycles; skating classes; closed circuits; bike rides and walking routes, among other activities. The company will also report on techniques to extend the useful life of its mobility products and on safe circulation in cities.
On September 18, electric mobility will be the protagonist of the events that Decathlon will hold in the center of some cities, thus promoting electric transport as an alternative to traveling by car in urban areas.
Likewise, the company also encourages all its customers to celebrate September 22, World Car Free Day, and that, if they go to its stores, they do so in a sustainable way.
All those people who want to join the company in the different events and face-to-face activities just have to access the Decathlon sports activities platform, select their region and store and sign up for the activities they want. Detailed description (original language): Desde el 16 al 22 de septiembre, la ciudadanía podrá participar en el programa de actividades diario que la compañía ha preparado y que se desarrollará en toda la geografía española.
Personas de todas las edades podrán descubrir tanto los productos de movilidad que Decathlon pone a su alcance como los beneficios físicos y mentales asociados a un cambio de hábitos en la forma de desplazarse. Algunos de los talleres previstos incluyen: reparación y mantenimiento de bicicletas; test de patinetes y bicicletas eléctricas; clases de patinaje; circuitos cerrados; paseos en bicicleta y rutas a pie, entre otras actividades. La compañía también informará sobre técnicas para alargar la vida útil de sus productos de movilidad y sobre circulación segura por las ciudades.
El próximo 18 de septiembre, la movilidad eléctrica será la protagonista de los eventos que Decathlon celebrará en el centro de algunas ciudades, fomentando así el transporte eléctrico como una alternativa a los desplazamientos en coche por las zonas urbanas.
Asimismo, la compañía también anima a todos sus clientes a celebrar el 22 de septiembre, Día Mundial Sin Coches, y que, de acudir a sus tiendas, lo hagan de forma sostenible.
