Detailed description (English): Car drivers in Spain with a B license and three years old can drive motorcycles up to 125 CC. To avoid accidents, this workshop is carried out, which consists of a mandatory theoretical part where the basic operation of a motorcycle, basic maintenance and passive safety are explained. Next, the individual will carry out a guided motorcycle practice within a closed circuit.
Detailed description (original language): En España, el conductor de automovil poseedor del carnet B, a los tres años de antigüedad puede conducir una motocicleta hasta 125 CC. Esto esta resultando muy peligroso y generando un incremento de accidentes en zonas urbanas. Por ello desde la PMSV se inicia unas jornadas teóricas - practicas donde el la teoría se explica que es una motocicleta y como se comporta el conjunto conductor-moto. Que debemos revisar diariamente dentro del mantenimiento de la motocicleta para hacer la conducción segura. Y por ultimo se explica que es la seguridad pasiva en la motocicleta, es decir, el equipamiento del motorista y lo importante que es, para la seguridad del mismo.
Target group(s): Future motorcycle drivers who want to make motorcycles their usual means of transportation.
Objectives: Raise awareness about the responsible use of the motorcycle and make it understood that knowing how to drive a car is not synonymous with driving a 125 CC motorcycle, even if the law allows it.
Expected Outcomes: We have carried out this initiative on other occasions and over the two days the passage of about 1000 people is expected.
