Detailed description (English): Last year, Stanley Black & Decker has been named the winner of the European Mobility Actions 2018! Our campaign – where colleagues in 15 countries biked, carpooled, walked or shared a ride to work – was selected as one of the top five most impressive actions and winner of the MobilityAction2018.
Our 2018 campaign reached more than 7,000 employees across 34 locations in 15 countries. Local champions organized activities including testing electric/hybrid vehicles, promoting public transportation, biking/running/walking to work, and taking the train or the bus instead of driving. Moreover, new proposals for permanent measures were submitted by our employees which are now being implemented.
This year, we will relaunch the campaign and aim to increase the number of participants to 10.000 employees in 20 countries. We are expanding the footprint from Europe to Asia, and the Communications Team will identify SPOCS for each location who will be responsible for local deployment, organization of activities and proposals for permanent sustainable measures.
Target group(s): Stanley Black & Decker Employees - 10.000 through local activities & 35.000 through internal communication.
Objectives: Reach 10.000 + employees in 20+ countries and receive 20+ submissions for permanent measures.
Expected Outcomes: Employee engagement & fun at the workplace, communication campaign to raise awareness, positive contribution to our CSR Strategy
