Detailed description (English): The Provincial Energy Agency has acquired a total of 6 bicycle repair station units, which will be distributed among 6 municipalities in the province of Cádiz: Castellar de la Frontera, Facinas (Tarifa), Vejer de la Frontera , Barbate, Zahara de los Atunes (Barbate) and Rota. The choice of these municipalities is strategically justified as they are places where sections of the Eurovelo Cycling Network and Vía Verde de Entre Ríos pass through.
Bicycle repair stations are elements that are installed on urban roads, as a general rule near strategic enclaves for cyclists. They allow users to carry out small emergency repairs on their bicycles, in order to be able to advance in their routes in the event of specific incidents. They also offer the service of basic maintenance operations.
The increase in the use of this mode of transport promotes the commitment and promotion of this type of actions and initiatives, which makes the use of the bicycle even more attractive and interesting to the detriment of combustion vehicles. Given the lack of this type of infrastructure in the province of Cádiz, this action aims to serve as an example and reference to the rest of the municipalities in the province of Cádiz.

La elección de estos municipios viene justificada estratégicamente por ser localidades de paso de tramos ya finalizados de la Red ciclista Eurovelo y Vía Vía Verde de Entre Ríos.
Target group(s): cyclists
Objectives: These infrastructures installed on urban land, free and open to use, and equipped with the necessary tools, make it possible for cyclists to carry out small repairs and/or maintenance work on their bicycles, such as inflating the wheels or changing them, tightening screws, adjusting brakes or repair a puncture. It is an infrastructure that, installed in places of passage and strategically interesting enclaves, is a support and reinforcement so that citizens see it as even more attractive to be able to use their bicycle, as opposed to other polluting vehicles. They are made with anti-vandalism materials.
