Detailed description (English): Our association, VELOCITE PAYS DE MONTBELIARD, whose goal is to promote the use of bicycles as a fast, pleasant and non-polluting means of urban transport, is organising, for its sixth edition this year, the operation "Je vais au boulot à vélo" (I go to work by bike) which will take place from September 8 to September 30, 2022.
Detailed description (original language): The 2021 edition of our challenge enabled 268 people to travel more than 26,000 km and therefore save more than 6 tonnes of CO².
The "Je vais au boulot à vélo" (I go to work by bike) operation will also be individual because it will allow each team participant to take part in a draw to win our partners' gifts, if they have fulfilled their individual challenge: namely to come to work by bike at least 3 times for novices, 6 times for occasional and 9 times for regulars.
Participants will be encouraged to come to work every day by bike from their home, they will provide information on the challenge website the number of trips they have made. The percentage of participants, the number of trips and the number of kilometers traveled will be taken into account for the ranking, moreover novice cyclists will see their points doubled, employees will therefore have an interest in convincing as many colleagues as possible to participate in the operation.
The winning teams will be rewarded during a ceremony and will be presented with a trophy. The prizes will be awarded to the winners of the draw.
Target group(s): students and employees and is aimed at establishments with more than 2 employees (companies, administrations, associations), and at their employees as well as students, established or living in the Pays de Montbéliard Agglomeration Community.
